Users find it cumbersome to maintain accounts manually for the paper invoices or across multiple software for generating and processing invoices. I've attempted this project to design a solution to reduce the burden of traditional accounting and inflexibility of software to provide users a seamless experience.
I conducted user interviews and tabulated the insights that I obtained from the users:

From the user interviews conducted, the problems from the user's perspective are:
● It is difficult to manage data across different platforms, ● Having to manually create invoices every time, ● Interface complexity, ● Disorganized invoices, ● Missing the payment deadlines.
It is important that accounts are managed effectively to have them accurate and up to date. Accounts have to be backed up with detailed records of all financial transactions of a business but it is often cumbersome and frustrating for the user to handle it from multiple platforms. Solving the above defined problems could help provide a better seamless experience for the user.
